Our Research
Discovery of Next-Generation Therapeutics against disease-associated proteins by operating at the interface of chemistry and biology.
Our lab bridges the fields of chemistry and biology to uncover novel therapeutic targets. We design reversible molecules, covalent binders, and heterobifunctional compounds (PROTACs, RIPTACs etc.,) to modulate the function of disease associated proteins. Our interdisciplinary approach encompasses structure-based drug design, chemical synthesis, assay development, HTS, proteomics, RNA-seq, CRISPR screening, pharmacokinetics, and in vivo cancer models.
Scientific rigor is a core principle of all research activities in the lab.
Our Mission
Train undergraduates, graduate students and postdoctoral fellows in aspects of drug discovery in a safe, inclusive and supportive environment.
Foster a collaborative environment that encourages curiosity and teamwork, with a long-term goal of developing safe, and potent therapeutics to address unmet medical needs.
We welcome curious students and researchers interested in operating at the intersection of chemistry and biology.
